About Us

This is our story,

This collection began not in a library, but with a personal discovery. Over 60 years ago, our founder received two fascinating old newspapers from their grandmother. That simple gift—a tangible piece of the past—sparked a lifelong commitment to preserving and sharing the original voices of history.

From the Bible to the Civil War, what you see today is the culmination of decades of work to acquire authentic historical documents. We have built our foundation on the works that shaped our world and defined our nation. Our archive spans from the Holy Bible to original newspapers from the American Civil War.

It is a journey that begins with the ancient wisdom that led to the creation of America and continues through the fire that tested its soul.

By maintaining our own private archive, we call (JBIT), we can ensure these primary sources are preserved for generations to come.

As the United States approaches its 250th anniversary, it is time to return to the source. This milestone is why we have chosen to open our archives now. But this is just the beginning. Using this anniversary as our catalyst, we will continue to expand this library, adding new, authentic books, newspapers, and documents every month. from our archive at JBIT

Our mission is to bring these treasures out of private collections and into the hands—and ears—of everyone. We transform these precious originals into read-aloud digital formats and audiobooks, allowing students, history enthusiasts, and the curious to experience history as written.

History is Calling. Will You Listen? Experience the American story exactly as it was written. Subscribe today to stay connected with our latest additions and explore history through its original voices in A Journey Thru Time.
